I dare all of you to start your own Inspiration Book!
It's a great way to hone your personal style, and it acts as an outfit-generator for the days you just feel like "you've got no clothes". It's not only for magazine editors, or stylists, or designers. It's fun, it's cute, and it's yours! Mine always makes me happy, and I get super-excited when I have free time to hunt through magazines and start making fashion collages. Summer should be productive..right? =P

If any of you already have your own Inspiration Books, congrats!
And feel free to share the love <3 div="">3>

ReplyDeleteWow, your inspiration book is great!
ReplyDeletelooks like a lot of fun. i put some collages in the back of my moleskine calender every year. that could sorty function as a look-book :)
ReplyDeletei have been wanting to make one of those since forever...
ReplyDeleteI wish I have the time and resources to start an actual one. I always love looking at other people's.
ReplyDeleteyour inpiration book is so inspiring! Thanks for nudging me to start one, i actually have one from years ago which is the same idea. Now i want to make one.
ReplyDeleteactually i do have one already-allover my wardrobe doors.
ReplyDeleteI tried for a while, and did quite elaborate ones, but I didn't have the patience or time to keep it up... and I can't bear to chop up my magazines!
ReplyDeleteI have so many boxes full of cut-outs from magazines, and I have been meaning to make lookbooks, but I never seem to have the time. Looking at yours has given me new inspiration to try though..so as you say, summer will be productive ;)

This is such a lovely idea, I might start one myself!
ReplyDeleteclever!
ReplyDeletei actually started one of those in grade 10 but i only did one season because i forgot about it and when i would remember about it i was way too lazy to do it. it is a lot of effort to do.
This is the perfect solution to my bland summer.
ReplyDeleteA very resourceful thing to do with my hundreds of magazines that need recycling.
What a great idea, I tried to do this once but got lazy...you've just re-ignited my enthusiasm!
ReplyDeleteI love making those things! I'v made like 5 already, but they are HUGE ones that I frame up in my room for inspiration for just whenever. haha. They are so fun to make, i agree :)
