 Saturday's Wedding in the Country
It was beautiful. I adored the large windows in the banquet hall,
and the FIREWORKS! This is a picture of my mother and I in front of the pond. I'm
telling you, this place was breathtaking.
P.S. I'm wearing my mother's dress..from the early 90's!
Best vintage find to-date. (click to enlarge)

What could be better than socks?

At 30 degrees Celsius (86 Fahrenheit),
wearing thick wool socks was a terrible idea.
But I thought it looked spunky.
And I didn't shave my legs...
See, there's always a solution for laziness.
I'd also like to thank Madam Dior for featuring me on her new blog: Flight of Phancy.

I thought this was an interesting concept for a photo shoot.
And did I mention I absolutely adore Coco?
And flowers?
Mmm..coco flowers. I could be onto something.

Hey takitos,
I know, I know, I haven't posted in a while. Forgive me, my summer school final exam is this tuesday, and this weekend, in general, has been loco. Not to mention I haven't worn anything remotely interesting. On the other hand, just to keep y'all up-to-date I'm posting you what my daddy bought me today before my trip to France. I was lacking some essentials, and I threw out more than half the clothes in my closet (including my favourite skinny jeans that got just TOO tight). I'll be reading blogs for the next couple hours, and watching the third season of House MD, so expect some comments heading your way!
A little dark, a little bright.
All in moderation,
Of course.

Superstahh!

I felt like a dirty, grunge-y rocker today.
Hence the outfit.
It's michy-machy, but I had to take the new Escada belt out for a joy-ride.

Get out your credit cards!

So sometimes I get bored, and spend beaucoup de temps browsing online. This week I found some VERY cute vintage stores on the web. I highly recommend checking them out because their stuff is off the hizzle. Fo'real!
Oh Chantelle, you and your gangster jargon. Anyways, here's the list. Enjoy!

An online vintage store started by Lenora and her boyfriend. It contains pieces hunted down from all over California! Yayz!

This place has the best vintage shoes I've every seen. Period.

This store has a 98.4% positive feedback bar! And fantastic dresses! Sweet..

Has some of the best blazers I've ever seen!

Really fun, bright colours. Their skirts are unbelievably cool!

They specialize in youth-cult clothing from the 60's - 80's!

Alright, so I think you get the drift. I lurvz vintage clothing... And I'm coveting that navy blazer with the crest really bad. Hope I've provided a few of you with some handy information. See ya on the west side!

Update June 17th: Rumi from Fashion Toast is the owner of Teasure Chest Vintage! YAYZ!!!

It's not a waste of time, seriously.

I dare all of you to start your own Inspiration Book!
It's a great way to hone your personal style, and it acts as an outfit-generator for the days you just feel like "you've got no clothes". It's not only for magazine editors, or stylists, or designers. It's fun, it's cute, and it's yours! Mine always makes me happy, and I get super-excited when I have free time to hunt through magazines and start making fashion collages. Summer should be productive..right? =P

gemma ward & a ruffle bikini

hermès bathing suit
& a high-waisted suspender skirt

Heather Marks & Gisele quotes

If any of you already have your own Inspiration Books, congrats!
And feel free to share the love <3 div="">

I'm so tall I make trees twitter with envy.
No, not really.
I lied.

Dear Skirt, sorry I neglected you for so long.
But it was cold outside.
I swear.

Just some of the quirkiness found in Chantelle's closet. Don't tell her I told you though.
;-]

Sometimes I just feel like dressing up for no reason at all. The side-walk needs more glamorous rockers don't you think?

Stay chic & enjoy the weather.
À bientôt ♥

Speak up, punk.

The Olsens have ridiculously good taste, as many of you will agree. I know I'm not a big fan of EVERY outfit, but that's impossible anyways. Who has perfect style? Not even Victoria Beckham nails all her get-ups. But to command so much attention from some of fashion's top tiers, at that age, is props-worthy.
As of late, Chantelle just can't get enough of their relaxed, original look. It takes talent to pull this off, seriously.

They must have a fantastic collection of shades. I'm so jealous.
Adiós muchachas..Hope this post amused you. Even for a little while

Oh me, oh my, oh deary. Yesterday was jam-packed with list-ticking, if you know what I mean. Luckily I snuck in some extra good stuff while I was running my errands. Two gold stars for Chantelle! Since the day started off well, I thought I deserved a bit of a break in the form of my favourite vintages stores. They were along the way, I promise.

I picked up a cute vintage bag.  ;-]

I hopped by the library to get some light reading, and a travel book for my upcoming trip to France.

Then I bought my Papa's Day gift! The wrapping was done so well! I can't wait until he opens it; I'll post pictures. I will not ruin the surprise yet, but you can guess in the mean time.
=D

Au revoir mes belles!
