And I'm aware this is tres late, but here are a few of my favourite shots of the Chanel Couture Collection. My friend H told me to take a look at it, so I actually spent a couple days getting back into my girly side in order to appreciate it to my full capacity. The collection makes me think of Harajuku girls sent to study in France, during the early 1900's. I totally dig that.

I stumbled on a Dragonette concert last year at Nathan Phillips Square! I think there was a fireworks show afterward. The lead singer told the whole audience that she was worried her new haircut was messed. I thought her humility was so adorable!
ReplyDeleteYeah, the latest Chanel couture collection really brought out a girly side in moi. I was surprised at myself; normally I like something darker like Givenchy, but I was only feeling, maybe, the first 6 looks from Monsieur Tisci this season.
I'm glad that you're embracing minimalism. Remember when you showed me the pictures of Carine Roitfeld's appartement & thought it was too minimalist? There's a Zen quality to it, non?
From personal experience, I think that perfectionism is more limiting & disheartening than it is demoralizing. It's a disease, really. It feels like mental paralysis.
