Heya people,
Today's little post is just a collective of awesomeness I've found on the internetz over the past couple weeks. Enjoy!

Sandra from 5 inch & up wearing a legit martial arts jacket. Originality FTW.

I jumped too late on my last etsy find, but I found this quirky stud + cuff to make up for it.

Super-cute peter pan collar & mesh dress from ASOS. They don't have my size, but I had to share this. [The last size 2 I ordered was big on me. Blerg.]
Yeah... I just love Agent Bauer. They have wonderful interior designs, and fashion photography.
Wündermuffins (since I haven't done them in a while)
- I read Lolita last month, and I'm kicking myself for not buying it sooner. It is a brilliant piece of work.
- I'm currently reading Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway, and Men are from Mars Women are from Venus
. To be quite frank, the latter has been very enlightening, and the former is super-motivational. I can't believe I didn't get into self-development books sooner.
- My girl-crush's new commercial: Megan Fox for Giorgio Armani Cosmetics
- I've had trouble finding small DSLR bags for when I want to lug around my camera. Thus far, this Acme Bowler is my favourite. If anyone else has suggestions, send them my way. I hate bulky bags.
- 100 lessons learned in the past 2 years by Ian Ramsrud.
- I'm totally digging flatforms, especially ones by 3.1 Phillip Lim & Joe's Jeans.
- Agony + (boys) + SUCCESS 3 vignettes from a year on the verge - by Alexandra Franzen. Also motivational, since I want 3 careers at the same time. Woo!
Salut!

Aloha!
I'm alive. The Victoria Day long weekend has been eventful, and it's still only Sunday afternoon! I got a huge blister under my foot from walking and dancing too much on Friday, and it has impeded some regular movement. Bad Chantelle. Anywho, I'm off the Feed Your Face Diet for the next 9 days so I can make a comparison with the last three weeks I was on the diet. So far... My face is oilier (probably from all the sangria), but no break outs. Success! Below is what I wore last night for B's birthday. Toodles!

P.S. There huge pockets in my dress. It was the first day in years that I did not carry a clutch or a bag. What freedom!
Hey everyone!
Thanks for the great feedback on the Feed your Face Diet! I've gotten a lot of messages about it, and it's exciting to interact with all of you in a ... "body self-improvement" type of way. :P Anywho, today's update is not so hot. I've been getting antsy the past few days, so I have wandering hands. To the point where my dad yells, "Chantelle! Stop scratching!". I should probably get gloves. *sad face*
Other than that, it has been raining like crazy in Toronto. Booooooo! Also, if you're studying for exams (I know the schools in the U.S. finish a lot later than Canadian universities), check out my compilation of tips here: Academic Toolbox.
If any of you can help my friend Sienna and I out with media kits, please contact us. I've got a general idea of what to do, but any advice from fashion bloggers would be helpful. Gracias!

*Torontonians: Mjolk is have an INSANE sale on their imported Scandinavian and Japanese items. I mentioned them a few posts ago, and I signed up for their newsletter, which has informed me of the above event! Woot! The images are from Kitka, the personal blog of the always-travelling owners of Mjolk.

Next step: Since my skin is acting as it usually would, had I not been on the diet, I want to keep sticking to the regime until the 20th, then use the next 11 days to get back to my normal eating routine and tell you guys if anything significant happens. This is really exciting; I've never experimented on myself before, but I think it's pretty informative... like a path of self-discovery.

Hey everyone,
I've been toying around with Instagram on my iPhone lately (thanks ManRepeller), and have been pleasantly surprised with the outcome. It's so simple and the colors are wonderful! Anywho, the weather has been warming up, and I wore this last night without freezing. Woot woot!

P.S. The shorts crinkle easily, but the pattern semi-hides it. I would not recommend these in a solid pastel color! & Sorry I cut off the shoes, I'll include them in another post. Maybe I'll double up with a "What's in my clutch?".
Cheers!
P.S. Check out Beginning Boutique on the sidebar. They're my first Australian sponsors! Super-excited!
I usually reject proposals that don't flow with the theme of my blog, so getting one that did was heart-attack inducing.
Cheers :)
Hope everyone is doing well. The sun is shining my friends! I am so excited for the summer season! [dance-dance-boogy]
Anywho, I just wanted to share a code with my readers for tomorrow's ShopBop friends and family event. You'll get 15% off any full price or sale items if you enter INTHEFAMILY15 at checkout. Some brands to keep an eye out for are: Theodora and Callum, Young Fabulous & Broke, Philosophy Alberta Ferretti, Tom Ford, Calvin Klein, Chloe Sevigny, Edmund Castillo, Maison Scotch, Richard Chai Love, and Shoshanna.

Skin diet update: I ate three delicious, freshly bakes chocolate chip cookies by accident. I'm so used to eating whatever I want, that only after the 3rd one did I remember I was on a diet. Boo.. Other than that, I think my body is rejecting an excess of dairy. Yesterday I had a bowl of greek yogurt with berries, and I was sick for the whole day. =( On the upside, I started having growing pains in my right leg. Hellz yeah!
Hey world,

Hey world!
My dorky face was on WiNK NYC today! I just wrote a guest post on their blog for a S/S 2011 trend I'm loving: menswear-inspired fashion. If you have time, check it out!
Anywho, diet update:
It's only day 5, and I'm getting moody/cranky because I'm hungry all the time. Since I have to avoid carbs and dairy, I don't get that sense of "fullness" as easy as I used to. I've upped my serving portions today, and it seems to be working. Also, I haven't cut out dairy COMPLETELY, because I don't want to get sick when I re-start drinking milk, or eating cheese, and ice cream, and anything else that's delicious in this world. I have a green tea latte once or twice a week - that's my limit (no more dairy and sugar than that). The only thing that makes Starbucks acceptable is the fact that this drink is green tea, which is an antioxidant.
Here are some pictures I took in The Junction a few weeks ago; it's an upcoming hipster/yuppie area in Toronto. Because it's not mainstream yet, so I am revelling in its quiet specialness.

Alrighty, so day 3 of the diet has just ended. Thus far... it is taking more effort than I thought, and I'm always hungry. However, I discovered my love for organic, vanilla-flavored soy milk - that stuff is delicious! But I really miss dairy products...mmm dairy. I've also altered the way I'm approaching the diet. My initial plan was to strictly follow every recipe she wrote for 28 days, but since it's difficult to cook/prepare all of them, I've used the plan as a guideline, and stuck with a couple favourite dishes (yes, even the ones I invent follow her code). I do not have the patience to make something new for each meal, especially in the morning!
Anywho, I'm looking forward to the results of this whole skin-diet experiment. Hopefully I'll be pleasantly surprised! Below are a few photos from my final days of gorging freedom. [Grappa Restaurant]
