Cheerio,

UPDATE: check out BADJOAN asap. They're have a $20 or less sale on indie labels.
As in...  I just saw a $300 dress for 20 bucks.
Most of the stuff is gone already [damn my bad timing], but they still
have some cute things I'd wear as beach cover-ups, or for boardwalk strolls.

I had a crazy week this week! So glad it's over.
I caught Dear John yesterday...and I actually liked it. Which is rare, since
I'm not a fan of romantic movies. I should do a haul post soon.
If I don't show ya'll what I wear, I should at least show you what I got, in case
ya like it and want to get it also. Catch you lovelies later!

First collection by Marcella Lindenberg under her own label.

What a 20-something Bardot would wear in ridiculously beautiful French summers.

She's wearing see through pants with silver detailing.. Now stop and think about how many people you know that could pull this off. I'm sitting at -2.

I really like the shape of this trench. It totally has a big-ass hood, I can feel it. I wish all fashionable Dementors wore this, but alas, they don't exist. And with those shoes?! Ughhh... best Dementor everrr.

If this girl walked into a party, with that get-up.. she'd be stalked by all 1,800 club-goers. Smokin'.

I almost peed myself when I saw that their hands had silver paint. Regardez! A pair of gloves that would actually fit me perfectly. Too perfectly.

'Tis all for today lasses, and lads.
Cheerio

Copenhagen Fashion Week
Street style photography by Yvan Rodic
I used to be addicted to Yvan's site when I was in first year. Nowadays there are so many amazing
blogs out there that I can't keep up with all of them; if I did I would have no life, at all.
After seeing the aforementioned photos I seriously wished I had gone to a more 'relaxed' university-
I have tons of invites that lay uselessly in my inbox. I actually wanted to shoot myself
in the foot when I got an e-mail for Jeremy Scott's fashion show after-party [last night]. Merde.
-sigh-

I have been watching this clip every week since its addition to my 'favourites list'.
It's funny how you can get inspired by the most unexpected people. It reinforces my belief in hard work and determination.

Watch this video without any distractions. No music, no 19 000 windows open, nada.
It's only ten mins long. Remember, you're frolicking around on a fashion blog.. So you sure as hell can spend a smidge of time watching something that may change your day, week, month, heck maybe even your life.
[I love the ending, it gets me all the time. I honestly get tears in my eyes.]

A quote I love:
The Creator gathered all of Creation and said,

“I want to hide something from the humans until they are ready for it. It is the realization that they create their own reality”.

The eagle said, “Give it to me, I will take it to the moon.”

The Creator said, “No. One day they will go there and find it.”

The salmon said, “I will bury it on the bottom of the ocean.” "No. They will go there too.”
The buffalo said, “I will bury it on the Great Plains.”

The Creator said, “They will cut into the skin of the Earth and find it even there.”

Grandmother Mole, who lives in the breast of Mother Earth, and who has no physical eyes but sees with spiritual eyes

said, “Put it inside of them.”

And the Creator said, “It is done.”

Chantelle.

[I think the reason I like this piece is because of the photo itself]

[really eclectic pieces]

[great tops and slouchy sweaters]

It is so difficult not to shop for random clothes. I have to make a conscious effort to question whether or not I will use pieces more than twice. I think I'm just going to shop for underwear this month, at least I know I'll get wear out of them. Haha..ha.. ahhhh. -_-

Anywho, I'm going to be doing an 'inspirational' post next. It's actually a youtube video I've been watching once a week. It really keeps me motivated! Love it!

It's another Etsy post. I swear that site has everything. I'm debating on whether or not to get a vintage Dior coin purse. I want to minimize the amount of 'things' I carry in my handbag. I find it's heavy before I even pop in my books for class. C'est fou, ça!

Petticoats by feudal
[I like how one can use it to poof up little skirts, or on its own.]

Suede envelope wristlet by catskillmtncountry
[I really like this colour, and how simple the cut is. Maybe I'll take up sewing this summer.]

Designs by clairlafaye <3
[Her works are so feminine, and doll-like. I would love to take that pink dress to a wedding.]

I have a few more Etsy features lined up for upcoming posts. Adios!

Just one more piece of Turlington love from the '90s.
It's the week before Reading Week, and I'm being slapped with travail. Oii..
And a quick shout out to ensoleillement for doing a feature about me on her new blog.
What a sweety, it made my day. Thanks hun!

Talk to y'all soon! I have so much stuff lined up! Credit cards beware!
