My New Beauty Finds

24 October 2012

I thought I'd do a beauty-related post today, since I've accrued a few fun products.

My first set of Butter London nailpolishes. I've used all 4/4, and I love the consistency. Dark Knight resembles galaxies, Cream Tea is a wonderful white color which I show below, Bluey makes me feel like a mermaid, and Blagger is just a quirky shade of blue.

Paula's Choice BHA has had great reviews for blackhead removal so I thought I'd give it a go. So far it has been good at drying up my problem areas, but like any skin product, you need to use it for a while before seeing results.

Along the theme of skin, I also picked up Carlson's Cod Liver Oil to keep my brain sharp. I'm not sure how long this takes to make an impact (I'm assuming a while, and I've just recently purchased it). I'm going to try this out and see if I can be consistent with it.

Lastly is a gorgeous fake tattoo I was sent from Sweden last spring - it says "I am my own work of art". I never came around to doing a post on it because I left it in my apartment in Chicago while I was home for the summer. If any of you are not keen on going permanent, but want something fun to wear for parties and nights out, this is your gem.

Have a wonderful day, everyone!

  1. That fake tattoo is fabulous, girly! I love fake tats, ha.

I've always wanted to try Butter London... maybe I'll make the investment soon.

  2. J'adore les vernis et le joli tatoo éphèmere !

  3. Thanks you guys! The tattoo was really fun to have. I have a few extra that I'm saving for a fun night out, probably in the summer.

  4. Super Cool tat. And such a great alternative to plastering ink all over your body!

  5. Yeah the tattoos are totally fun. I have a few left to use!

  6. Love the fake tattoo. And yeah, it'd be a great idea to try out before I bite the bullet and actually get a real one :D

Thanks for stopping by. À plus mes belles!
