Things I Love Thursday: Downtown Chicago & Fresh Breezes

10 September 2015

Hi everyone!

It's down to the wire with ERAS opening up on Sept 15th. For those of you not in medicine, that's the service we use to apply to residency programs (The Match is done via NRMP). In order to keep my nerves in check, I thought I'd share the things I've been loving lately. En avance!

Cool breezes off of Lake Michigan as autumn rolls in * working downtown and window shopping on my way home from clinic * authentic Italian pizza from a neighborhood pizzeria * The Boy on vacation - I finally get to spend more than a few hours with him a week! * dedicated mentors * Tresemme's dry shampoo * Bristol Renaissance Fair in WI * Grammarly Chrome extension * Rosemary candles that clear the sinuses * House of Cards * Suddenly hot weekends * Matcha green tea from Trader Joe's * not having to drive everyday

A weekend enjoying the Architecture boat tour in Chicago and heading home to make Creamy Four Cheese Pasta. Delicious!

The mosaic ceiling of Macy's in downtown Chicago. Art in the small town of St Charles.

Lily pads in the Chicago Botanical Gardens, and more sculptures in Elgin.

Enjoying the last crumbs of summer, as you all should as well!

Cheers,
Chantelle

    1. Isn't it the greatest, Christine?! I regret not going earlier. I'm hoping to buy tickets for my mom and dad when they come down for a visit.
