Fashion Transition: How to wear your summer pieces in the Fall, and what to do with all those floral prints. Yikes!

30 August 2011

As August says its last goodbye, September saunters through the front door. Us North Americans are now faced with a peculiar weather change: Fall. It's a season I rarely see, but dress for anyway - riding boots, scarfs, and elbow-patched blazers? Yes, please! I spent a little time perusing style.com in order to find outfits that could inspire you, and help transition your summer pieces into the new season. My favourite is by far the maxi dress; grunging it down with a denim jacket & chunky waist belts is going to be fun. Plus, if my scrawny legs could pull off motorcycle boots, I totally would...

Above two images are from a pre-fall collection I can no longer find. Someone help a sista out!
Cheers,
Chantelle

Elaborate a bit? Do you not look out a window or don't see fashion trends?

  8. We have only a couple days between hot summer-ish weather, and cold winter weather. It's sad. :( We go from skirts to parkas in a heart beat. No time for over the knee sock, with shorts and a sweater. You're in a parka for the next 5-6 months.
