Apple Picking & Corn Maze Exploring

Here are a few pictures from the prerequisite fall activity: apple-picking. If you recall, last year I also went out to grab me some nature food. This year we hit up All Season Orchard, and I even got some apple cinnamon doughnuts to bring home. On the way to the farm we stopped by the farmer's market in Crystal Lake, and bought some fresh corn + a little pumpkin. I couldn't believe how cheap the prices were; I'm hoping to catch another farmer's market in the near future (and closer to my little abode) in order to stock up on fresh veggies grown locally. Enjoy!

What were you up to this weekend?
Any fun plans for Halloween?

Cheers,
Chantelle

  1. How fun! I've never picked apples. I went to a farm last year and picked some pumpkins. I even milked a goat! This year, I don't even think we're getting pumpkins. :( BUT this weekend we're moving so that's exciting.

  2. Amazing! Going to the farm to pick fruits/vegetables is the best! I wish I went this year but I always don't have the time and this weekend I'm going on vacation.

    Have a great Halloween!

  4. I love reading your blog! I can't even remember how I came across it. I especially like that you include aspects of schooling and tips.

The only thing I'd want changed is the font size and colour...sometimes I find myself pretty close to my computer screen trying to read your amazing posts.

    1. Hey anon, thanks for the suggestion! I know my font shows up pretty small on some computers, so when I do my next layout change I'm definitely going to adjust everything to a bigger size. Cheers!
