Dressing For A Cold Front

15 April 2013

leather jacket - Danier // sweater - Madewell // wool skinnies - Wilfred // ballet flats - Bloch

Snapped these shots before I left my apartment for another histology lab last week. I thought I'd let you in on my "cold spring" uniform for school & studying: skinnies, leather jacket, and ballet flats. It has been raining quite consistently these past few weeks, and I've considered investing in rain boots, but I've had terrible luck with them for years.
Do you know of any rain boots for my skinny legs/calves?
I'd be forever grateful. Now I'm off to finish up another chapter of "Girl With The Dragon Tattoo". I cannot believe I waited this long to read it, especially since I was IN LOVE with both the Swedish and American versions of the film. So good!

  1. Such a good trilogy! I made the error of starting it last year during my finals... Oh well, my grades didn't suffer too much, I just looked sleep deprived for a few weeks ;)

  10. i bought some Hunters in New York and they were terrible! I couldn't even walk in them, they slipped right off my legs--even with tightening them all the way. They are no good for scrawny legs. Definitely stay away from those!

  12. YES for this leather jacket! It is deep and rich and classy and not too edgy but just edgy enough. Love your messy bun as well. Been trying to pull one of those off for an embarrassingly long time.

What is that Chanel thing on your wall? Looks super cool.

<3 how your shoes match the flowers below. supa fly.

  13. ummm so we have the same leather jacket, except mine is black and I'm in love with the style so nice pick ;)
also really like those wool skinnies and your flats, the colour is beautiful. I bought a pair of DKNY rain boots last year that are pretty slim, light and have an elastic band at the neck, I would suggest you try a pair from them.
