Hi there! I'm Joanna, a blogger for Design Shuffle, a popular online portal featuring the work of interior designers and plenty of inspiration for design enthusiasts looking for decorating ideas. Thank you Chantelle for letting me share this with your readers today! Below you'll find Swedish design spaces across many styles from country to modern and a little bit of everything in between. Common elements throughout all of the rooms are white walls, ceilings and at times, white or blond flooring. I know it's hard to pick just one, but which is your favorite Swedish style?

A Gustavian style space features ornate carved furnishings in a pure white setting. This is certainly a room with a more formal and decorative feel to it. It provides plenty of inspiration.
White furnishings and walls look crisp and fresh in this pretty studio. A china cabinet is used to store materials which keep the space from looking disheveled.
A modern example of Swedish white interior reflects a more utilitarian design approach with few accessories and less clutter. The industrial-like light fixture is an interesting element.
This minimalist bedroom design is anything but stark. The large windows provide plenty of natural light and the light fixture and stove provide a warm glow.
White in the kitchen doesn't have to be stark as this Swedish kitchen shows. Homey touches such as the open shelving, blackboard, and brass pendant go a long way.
A charming country style space features an open floor plan with the dining room/kitchen opening off the living area. The furnishings have a casual lived-in feel which is quite welcoming
Clean lines and an all white palette provide a restful place to gather at the end of a long day. The staircase design is very clever! I love the little curve to it.
A Swedish space boasts a modern style, yet it has some vintage features such as the decorative ceiling treatment and arched windows. The eclectic mix inspires many interior design ideas.

As you've all noticed before, I'm quite a fan of the self-love + positivity movement. Reading about it makes me feel great, and it gives me ideas on how to keep my optimism high and my feelings elated. Below are a few videos, links, and quotes that really connect with my petit soul.

There is excitement in the air everyone!!! My cousin is getting married tomorrow, and we have been anxiously awaiting this splendid day for 2 years. I'm one of the bridesmaids, so there will be an early wake-up at 6am- yikes!... But I doubt I'll get a wink of sleep with my bubbling nerves. Did I mention how excited and happy I am? Very. VERY.

I just spent the past hour trying to figure out some photoshop tricks, and thanks to Syd's little tutorial over at The Daybook, I was able to do so. Today I headed off to Turf Lounge for lunch with a close friend (I love Summerlicious), and we had some of the most divine food that has ever passed my lips. Incredible. Tonight I'm cooking then finishing up a few more chapters of The Happiness Project.

I thought I would pull out my American Flag denim shorts to celebrate Independence Day (in Canada!). If anyone is looking for a pair like these, you can find them at TopShop. Hope your day is swell wherever you are. I just finished the Fifty Shades trilogy (good read if you're bored, but not worth it if you're interested in great literature or fantastic enlightenment. It still miffs the feminist in me.) However, I am FINALLY making progress on The Catcher in the Rye, which is on the Top 100 list of novels to read before you die. I've guffawed countless times already! What a riot. It kills me. Once that's finished, I'll be starting on "The Happiness Project".

Anywho, I'm off to watch The Lord of the Rings [Extended] on blu-ray with my dad. Seriously, once you go blu-ray you don't want to go back. It's just that phenomenal. Hellloooo high resolution.

Hola ladies,

I've finally uploaded a couple photos from last week. If any of you have time to hit Zara, go pick up these crochet shorts. They're super comfy, and I can't stop wearing them, since they match with all my tops. It's like magic, really. I just got home from dinner at Sultan's Tent in Toronto, and let me tell you, I had a fantastic time. The belly dancing show was even better than I expected, because the dancer was so marvellous, and had great technical training. I highly recommend a visit if you have time. Also, I recommend ordering their signature champagne & pomegranate drink - it's delish!

I've gone goo-goo-ga-ga over Native Fox. Her taste in clothing is just in tune with my style. Absolutely adore it!
