I figured I should start March with a few spring trends that I'm hoping to invest in (bonus if they transition to summer). And a quick FYI, I've been loving camel/caramel/kahlua shades.

+ This Swedish girl's blog: Maja Tanna [I don't know why I use winter as an excuse to look frumpy. These Swedes put me to shame; them and their mountains of snow.]
+ Forever21 did pretty knock-offs of the Miu Miu shoes from 2 seasons ago. Downside: I can't find them online in Canada. Merde. [via DulceCandy]
+ Pet peeve: When clothing lines don't all stick to the same size guides. I manage to fit in size 0-4, and 5.5 -7 (shoes). Hence why I'm always weary of online shopping.
+ Rebecca Minkoff Passport Wallet: the name is so deceiving- this is actually my ideal clutch. Hoping it'll be my March purchase. I haven't been keeping on schedule with the buying hiatus this month.
+ YSL's Parisienne: want. It's similar to my Jeanne Lanvin which is my all-time favourite.
+ How to plan effectively: great post on organizing your time. Considering I've squandered most of my reading week on NYC, and reading blogs... I needed this wake-up call.

traSometimes I wonder if I've repeated my blog title quotes... hmmm. Anyway, I just finished re-tweeking the layout; mostly adjustments that only I notice and no one else does. But I DID IT! I'm back from NYC! I've linked my mini-haul with tag.loudly, so tell me if you like it or not. I'm debating whether to continue using it [UPDATE: TAG.LOUDLY WAS FREEZING AND SLOWING DOWN MY BLOG; I'VE REMOVED ALL TAGGED PHOTOS]. Over the next week I'll be posting some NYC pics, along with my regular photos. I hope everyone is doing well! Nothing exciting on my end- there is just a whole lot of studying happening.

Hope you're all fine and dandy! Forgive the blog layout for the next couple weeks- I'm in the process of reinventing my virtual abode. And I just got mini-business cards (will post about them once they arrive). Anyway, I'm heading to NYC Sunday morning, so I'm leaving you all with a list of wündermuffins [tips & info I find useful, or learned through trail& error]:

     Obviously, I should be studying for next week's midterms, but the internet has provided me with more entertaining, albeit menial activities. Today, I present to you the 50 Classics for your Closet, courtesy of Matchbook Magazine. I've continuously referred to this guide over the past 2 weeks, because I am composing a list of items to purchase in NYC. [I've got 0 on the list so far; maybe I can buy cheap air from the street vendors.]
     Nevertheless, I think these may be handy for the few of you who are always bogged down by selection, and guilty of impulse buying. Remember, if not all of these pieces fit your style, remove them and add a timeless piece that fits your body type.. (I removed the khaki trousers, the tunic, and the shirt dress, and replaced all 3 with one item: high waisted, paper bag style shorts in khaki or taupe. Oh and those frumpy striped PJs...ladies, you deserve a silk teddy instead.) Enjoy!

Omg, deux foreign languages in one sentence. Que loco! I hope everyone has been doing well, if not.. send me a message. I love hearing people's problems; I'll be your virtual shrink. Anywho, today I am posting about my most used jewelry. The items included below are't the extent of it, but the lighting changed between shots, and I didn't want to break the pink-y aura of cool these had. ^-^

{Traditional Portuguese necklace and earrings. These designs are the continuation of hundreds of years of folkloric jewelry. They're the most unique pieces I have, because not many North Americans even know such beautiful things exist!}

{The Bimba& Lola leather wrap bracelet with gold hardware is a fun piece to wear. I usually sport it with a monochrome outfit. The necklace is a vintage Nina Ricci piece my mother had lying around. I unfortunately snapped the lock a while back, so it has been hibernating in my treasure chest. Hopefully I'll get it repaired soon.. when my laziness leaves me for good.}

The following two beaded bracelets have been on my wrist since I received them 3 weeks ago. They're known as LubLub Stackers, and I chose 2 warm shades with a bohème feel to them. Chantelle is getting ready for the 70's style revival for S/S 2011! (If anyone spots low-rise flared jeans, shoot me an e-mail/tweet/comment. I'm interested =D). Fellow Torontonian Laura S is the owner & creator of Lub Lub, and she was kind enough to offer a $50 give-away to my readers.
