Hola readers,
I shall explain my abrupt hiatus. About two weeks ago I got accepted to a Master of Sciences program in Illinois, and I decided to jump on the offer (even whilst waiting for 3 other schools to get back to me). In 1.5 weeks, I moved my entire life to a small town north of Chicago. It's pretty exciting, and I plan on heading down to the city many times - I'm from Toronto, so getting "city-sick" is going to hit pretty soon. I need my traffic congestion, loud noises, and non-stop action. I'll be living here until June, which is when my accelerated Masters ends. My apartment is 88% complete, just a few misc items left to buy. I may be M.I.A for another bit; being an international student makes setting-up important accounts really tedious. Anywho, I hope you're all doing well! Please tell me what plans you have for the summer, and places I should visit in Chicago!
Cheers,
Chantelle
Good luck with your studies! Looking forward to more posts! ;)
