UPDATE: check out BADJOAN asap. They're have a $20 or less sale on indie labels.
As in...  I just saw a $300 dress for 20 bucks.
Most of the stuff is gone already [damn my bad timing], but they still
have some cute things I'd wear as beach cover-ups, or for boardwalk strolls.

I had a crazy week this week! So glad it's over.
I caught Dear John yesterday...and I actually liked it. Which is rare, since
I'm not a fan of romantic movies. I should do a haul post soon.
If I don't show ya'll what I wear, I should at least show you what I got, in case
ya like it and want to get it also. Catch you lovelies later!

Copenhagen Fashion Week
Street style photography by Yvan Rodic
I used to be addicted to Yvan's site when I was in first year. Nowadays there are so many amazing
blogs out there that I can't keep up with all of them; if I did I would have no life, at all.
After seeing the aforementioned photos I seriously wished I had gone to a more 'relaxed' university-
I have tons of invites that lay uselessly in my inbox. I actually wanted to shoot myself
in the foot when I got an e-mail for Jeremy Scott's fashion show after-party [last night]. Merde.
-sigh-

I love the blue colour of Kerr's Prada bag, and the
infamous Chanel two tone shades.
The latter actually reminds me of a Looney Tunes cartoon
character blinking.

I thought I'd share with you a few pictures from my last visit to the ROM exhibitions. They were taken last year - when I was still blonde. I found the photos a couple weeks ago, and I really liked the colours, so I thought I would share. Happy week!

I love this video

on
Saturday, February 13, 2010
I have been watching this clip every week since its addition to my 'favourites list'.
It's funny how you can get inspired by the most unexpected people. It reinforces my belief in hard work and determination.

Watch this video without any distractions. No music, no 19 000 windows open, nada.
It's only ten mins long. Remember, you're frolicking around on a fashion blog.. So you sure as hell can spend a smidge of time watching something that may change your day, week, month, heck maybe even your life.
[I love the ending, it gets me all the time. I honestly get tears in my eyes.]

A quote I love:
The Creator gathered all of Creation and said,

“I want to hide something from the humans until they are ready for it. It is the realization that they create their own reality”.

The eagle said, “Give it to me, I will take it to the moon.”

The Creator said, “No. One day they will go there and find it.”

The salmon said, “I will bury it on the bottom of the ocean.” "No. They will go there too.”
The buffalo said, “I will bury it on the Great Plains.”

The Creator said, “They will cut into the skin of the Earth and find it even there.”

Grandmother Mole, who lives in the breast of Mother Earth, and who has no physical eyes but sees with spiritual eyes

said, “Put it inside of them.”

And the Creator said, “It is done.”

[I think the reason I like this piece is because of the photo itself]

[really eclectic pieces]

[great tops and slouchy sweaters]

It is so difficult not to shop for random clothes. I have to make a conscious effort to question whether or not I will use pieces more than twice. I think I'm just going to shop for underwear this month, at least I know I'll get wear out of them. Haha..ha.. ahhhh. -_-

Anywho, I'm going to be doing an 'inspirational' post next. It's actually a youtube video I've been watching once a week. It really keeps me motivated! Love it!

It's another Etsy post. I swear that site has everything. I'm debating on whether or not to get a vintage Dior coin purse. I want to minimize the amount of 'things' I carry in my handbag. I find it's heavy before I even pop in my books for class. C'est fou, ├ža!

Petticoats by feudal
[I like how one can use it to poof up little skirts, or on its own.]

Suede envelope wristlet by catskillmtncountry
[I really like this colour, and how simple the cut is. Maybe I'll take up sewing this summer.]

Designs by clairlafaye <3
[Her works are so feminine, and doll-like. I would love to take that pink dress to a wedding.]

I have a few more Etsy features lined up for upcoming posts. Adios!

CK 1997-99

Can you believe how amazing these look more than ten years later?
Turlington and Moss are total chameleons.
I'm totally going to do a wardrobe re-haul now. Not that I've got much left in my closet, anyway.

I'll talk to you cats later,

Goodness this jewelry is so delicate and beautiful. It reminds me of small treasures little girls, circa 19th century, would keep in their memento boxes, hidden amongst diaries and silk ribbons. SeaUnicorn

I'm considering buying this leather bound journal. However, I have never completely filled a journal, and I don't plan on carrying one this large around. It is so beautiful though. Perhaps it may act as a bookshelf accent. Or if I buy my own loft one day, it could be my sole decoration. A vast expanse of space, and a leather journal.
I'm kidding, obviously. It's from a wonderful little etsy store, and according to reviews, it's even better in person.

Someone asked me (on formspring) if I checked out the Sartorialist often. I do not, but it reminded me to take a look at his blog. Luckily, I stumbled across this photo. I love how edgy she looks, while only wearing simple garments with great cuts. 'Tis worth of a place in my inspiration folder.

If any of your are interested in the vast array of nail lacquer shades out there, I suggest you check out colorlvr. She has a great collection, and I'm seriously inclined to go on a nail polish shopping spree soon.

I had forgotten about Frieda Rose, the australian internet phenomenon. In my opinion, I think she's a lot more put together than Corey Kennedy. Not that I'm hating on CK, but if I had to choose one over the other, it would be Ms. Rose. This girl is incredibly intelligent, and I have quite a lot of respect for her. I think in most part it's because I can relate to her views and opinions. [Look how long her hair is! Looooove. *-*]

Yeah, don't vomit over how gorgeous this creature is. Here's her livejournal in case you want to take a peek.

'Tis all for now.
Cheers,
Chantelle
